A School of Umbrellas
The Rainland Stories is a series of images, showcasing life during the Indian Monsoons in the Western ghats. It shows how people have adapted to their conditions and move about their daily chores without paying much regards to the constant deluge. Apart from the fresh green colour of the foliage its usually the bright coloured rain proof garments that adds in a unique charm to the season. This is an attempt by the artist to capture the bright colours of the Rain coats and Umbrellas.
